Ohio General Assembly in Support of our Public Schools

Governor Strickland's budget invests more dollars into public preschool programs, ends the EdChoice statewide voucher program, eliminates for-profit charter schools, and places a moratorium on new charter schools. His budget also places a tuition freeze on Ohio public institutions of higher learning.

CFT is calling upon you to send an email to your elected member of the Ohio House of Representatives (if you live in Ohio) to advocate that Representatives support Governor's Strickland's budget as it relates to public education.

Please be sure not to use the district's computer or email system for this advocacy campaign.

There will be opposition to Governor Strickland's budget and it is important that your voice be heard to advocate for state support of our traditional public schools.
