SPECIAL NOTATION:  GPA is not a consideration, but rather, an individual’s heart and commitment.  Applicants must include an essay citing example(s) of how they demonstrated courage, cooperation and/or perseverance in overcoming challenges in their own lives, school or community.

The William P. Sheehan Scholarship(s) will be used primarily for tuition but will allow a portion of the funds to be used to cover expenses critical to success such as books, transportation, technology, etc…

The application deadline is May 28, 2008 and must include the following:

• A completed Cincinnati Scholarship Foundation (CSF) application, identified with the CFT/ACPSOP logo, located on the CFT website at www.cft-aft.org;
• One letter of recommendation;
• Copy of current transcripts;
• Copy of Student Aid Report and;
• Essay citing example(s) of how they demonstrated courage, cooperation and/or perseverance in overcoming challenges in their own lives, school or community.
